Life is whispering...can you hear it?

"By following a yearning to release her emotions from the corridors of her mind, she discovered the layers found within," writes Lauren Edgar, the author and narrator of the catalog essay for abstract artist Joan Maureen Collins' recent exhibit titled Reverie Unbound. Lauren visited the artist's studio in April 2024 to see the collection before it was shipped to Globe Fine Art Gallery on Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lauren captured spellbinding insights about the inspiration for this series, Joan's intuitive approach, and her creative intentions. Lauren now brings this essay to life with her narration of an excerpt from the catalog essay. In this newly released sound drop, she captured passages like this one: "While Joan paints, words will come to her mind. This makes sense; after all, she is telling us something. Her painted whispers speak volumes about our human emotional condition. By listening with our eyes and our hearts, we can feel and understand her quiet, contemplative, and creative conversations. It is highly personal, and we must lean in to hear it and allow it to resonate with our soul." The Reverie Unbound catalog essay narration is now available through this link for your listening pleasure.
