I'm still buzzing from a whirlwind 72 hours for the opening of ROOTS in NYC! Tucked into a long and narrow space in the spirited, Lower East Side art district, Gallery Arte Azulejo drew in a diverse mix of global art and artists, and an art loving crowd with wine and champagne in hand and feet shuffling to the vibes of Columbian D.J. Par Hadas. The space seemed lit up with joy. To celebrate the ease of uniting again, my mom/my root at my side - and around art... it's, well, it's.
